CAD Technician Opportunity – Wellingborough (Fully office-based)
We’re working with a well-established and highly creative business in Wellingborough that’s looking for a talented CAD Technician to join their growing team. What you’ll be doing:
Producing accurate 2D & 3D CAD drawings
Translating creative concepts into technical, manufacturable designs
Generating CNC machining files and component layouts
Preparing templates aligned with print and installation specifications
Ensuring all documentation meets industry standards and regulations
Providing technical support and problem-solving across projects
Managing drawing records, version control, and file organisation
What we’re looking for:
Proficiency in Vectorworks or AutoCAD
Experience in technical drawing (fabrication, construction, or manufacturing)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
A degree in design is desirable, but qualified by experience is equally valued
