Summary As an expert in applied AI you will build AI capability in enterprises through hands-on building and coaching. Shape high-value use cases, develop solutions, and drive real adoption.

Purpose

As we build the foundations of our growth, we need to expand our AI native consulting team to satisfy client demand. This team works directly with clients in two different ways.

People First is our approach to building AI fluency and capability within enterprises to develop confident AI leaders, and build other elements of AI maturity in the organisation to drive adoption and acceleration. This is complemented by our Value First approach, where we help enterprises to find and develop their most valuable enterprise-wide AI use-cases.

Our Value Consultants are the touch points with our clients, and are accountable for ensuring that their work delivers great outcomes for the client, and that the experience of working with us is both rewarding and enjoyable.

We are looking for an ‘AI Native’ expert to join the team and help enable our clients with the skills required to really properly get value from the AI tools they have access to in their workplaces.

We would ideally like to hire this role in the Netherlands to complement our growing team there, but are open to suitably qualified and energised applicants from anywhere. Our other base is currently in London.

Key Accountabilities

1. People-First - Enabling organisations with AI

  • You will be face to face with executives and senior leaders, helping them understand the potential, and limitations of AI in the context of their readily available AI productivity tools.
  • You will plan, and run hands-on one to one and group sessions with senior managers to help people understand the potential and limitations of AI.
  • Backed by excellent knowledge in practical AI and the readily available tools currently in market, you’ll take a hands-on approach by finding challenges that they have been struggling with, and working through them together to help them build their confidence and improve their skills.
  • You will coach senior managers and their teams to demystify AI in the context of their wider organisation so they are more confident and capable to find the best use-cases and work with others on AI initiatives. You’ll stay in touch with those individuals as their trusted navigator to the world of AI as part of our ongoing support for those people.

2. Hands on AI Expertise and Implementation

  • Taking time to understand client challenges in their day to day work, and shaping how AI would support that; conducting interviews and fact-finding sessions with a variety of client stakeholders and experts to draw these out.
  • Designing solutions for them that use readily available tools from CoPilot and Gemini, to Power Automate, and Google AI Studio, with the freedom to recommend new tooling.
  • Developing advanced prompts, custom and MCP enabled GPTs, Gems and CoPilot agents, and simple agentic automation, co-created with senior leaders and other domain experts from our clients using appropriate tooling.
  • Quality assuring your own and others’ work in this respect, putting in place relevant guardrails and evaluations to assure trust in the solutions.

3. Value-First

  • You will plan and facilitate workshops to drive out the most valuable use-cases within an organisation, thinking not only about simple automation, but large-scale rethinking of how enterprises work. You’ll need to inspire and educate people to coax the best out of them.
  • You will work with design colleagues to create materials and artefacts that support that process, and work in tools like Miro, to help them map out and visualise the problems.
  • You will write-up and articulate those use-cases, and the value associated with them, and work with more technical colleagues to formulate potential solutions.
  • You will work with developer colleagues to help them deliver those solutions, using your what you have learned from working with the client’s domain experts to ensure that they will create the desired outcomes for the client, and bring the voice of the customer into the delivery team.

4. Internal Learning and Product Development

  • All of us are committed to devoting time to learning. The AI world is moving so fast, that it is difficult for anyone to keep up, so it’s vital we are constantly sharing our experience, skills and learning with each other to ensure we stay fit to deliver the best outcomes for our client. This means you will have a responsibility, both to participate, but also locate and share the most relevant and formative learning from the outside, as well as invest time in helping others learn from you.
  • We invest in our own internal products to support our learning, but also how we work as AI-natively as possible. You’ll have a mandate to influence, and shape the tools and methods we use in our day to day work to ensure we keep pace with client demand, and are able to recommend only the best tools to the clients we work with.

Profile

Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years in consulting, or technology environments.
  • Expert understanding of AI to a deep level, but able to translate this understanding into meaningful metaphors and mental models for those without that deep understanding.
  • You will be an expert in practical AI. You will either be a certified AI engineer status or working your way towards it or vendor certification.
  • You will have detailed and in-depth knowledge on AI concepts, latest tooling and developments, and underlying technical foundations and history.
  • Proficient in producing high quality client facing documentation and materials with support from design colleagues.
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle design, engagement frameworks, and value measurement.

You will have an extremely strong understanding of the wider industry, underlying tech, and working principles of the entire AI stack, and will have invested time in developing strong skills and competence in freely available AI tools. You will also be keenly aware of the risks and pitfalls of AI and be able to confidently mitigate those, and help others to do so.

This requires us to be largely self-directed, albeit well supported by experience and tooling, and we all accept that the quality of our work is incredibly important to our success and that of our clients.

  • Commercially aware - understands how strong customer outcomes are vital to the sustainable growth of both our clients and ourselves.

  • A stream of use-cases that drive real value for our clients, that you have identified and helped them shape.
  • Regularly used patterns, tools and approaches that increase our productivity and raise the quality of work we deliver.
  • Your contribution to our learning and internal product development will have driven better outcomes for us and our clients, and contributed to the knowledge and skills of our wider team and clients.
