The Strategy and Partnerships team is responsible for defining the overall business strategy and developing and growing relationships with our key partners including Mastercard, Edenred, our Banking and Technology providers and commercial partners.  The team works cross-functionally with Technology and Product Teams, Client Engagement, Compliance, Marketing and Operations. 

Role Description

The main objective of the role is to support the Head of Strategic Partnerships in commercial engagement with new and existing partners.

The Strategic Partnerships Commercial Analyst will assist with the identification, development and management of new and emerging partner channels to continue to expand services to  fintech customers including TIDE, Monese and improve understanding of customer needs.

The Strategic Partnerships Commercial Analyst will also assist with the commercial aspects of the development and management of relationships with key partners - principally their scheme (Mastercard) and fintech partners to improve the value we get from partner relationships.  The analyst will also provide support with analysis on success and other KPIs associated with rollout of new partner initiatives.

You will

  • Support high impact projects and evaluate strategic opportunities
  • Work alongside our Partnerships & Strategy Lead to deliver the company’s big bets
  • Provide project leadership, remove blockers and assist product teams with ad-hoc analysis and complex business problems
  • Be comfortable exploring new ideas and discovering how the market developing to ensure best placed to support users with future opportunities.
  • Be able to analyse large amounts of data, extract insights and make actionable recommendations
  • Work cross-functionally to define, build and implement scalable processes
  • Manage existing vendor relationships and evaluate new partners
  • Document knowledge and maintain an up to date knowledge base 

Experience and skills


  • Have 2+ years of experience working in investment banking, consulting or a similar role at a fintech.

·        Solution/Problem solving mindset - Ability to figure things out with numbers or technical solutions

·        Good analytical skills and comfortable with numbers

·        Excellent English communication skills – both oral and written

·        Are proactive and like to take responsibility

·        Strong interpersonal skills

·        Interest in Fintech!
