The Global OTT Data Platforms (GOTTD) department has designed and built a real time data analytics platform using the latest cloud and open-source technologies. We stream billions of events each day to help our partner teams across and Comcast to deliver insights and analytics.

What you'll do:
You will be a member of an agile software development team working on breaking down requirements into an epic and story backlog for refinements with the team and sprint planning
Create, update, and maintain documentation including artefacts such as API specifications, sequence diagrams and flow charts.
Understand the architecture vision, and help translate the high-level architecture to solution components and capabilities
You will work closely with stakeholders, Architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners and Data Analysts to help detail the final solution components and user stories.
You will assist and lead in the development of POCs to ensure that the final design is fit for purpose and can meet the expected requirements
Collect and remove ambiguity on partner technical requirements
Identify key risks and issues and ensure they are advanced to the Engineering Manager and Scrum Master

What you'll bring:
Based on previous experience of working in a software development team you will effectively apply agile methodologies (such as Scrum or Kanban) to projects.
Strong technical background able to go into the low-level technical detail of a project in order to carry out impact assessment.
Solid understanding of GCP components and technologies
Build strong partnerships with stakeholders including Data Intelligence, Data Science and Engineering
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to logically analyse complex requirements, data sets, processes and systems
Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both a technical and non-technical audience
Experience in a data projects (SQL knowledge, familiarity with data pipelines, ETL, event analytics)
