IP Architect

Primary purpose of the role would be providing end-to-end IP Architecture, design, and technical leadership

What you'll do:

Design IP End to End Technical solutions bridging the IP networking (underlay), Cloud/SDN infrastructure & Telco applications (VNFs and CNFs)

Develop an End to End IP Design on a greenfield project that will include everything from the IP Underlay network (IP CLOS) to Overlay IP design (VMWare NSX) taking into account the infrastructure and applications/products requirements.

Deliver and document IP design artifacts from High Level Architecture to High and Low-Level Designs.

Work with Project or Program managers to drive technical solution scope and fragment into deliverable activities.

Run upfront engagement with many stakeholders across Technology Group provide detailed network solutions for their services and virtualised functions over Cisco Spine and leaf Fabric, VvmWare NSX-T and Palo Alto firewalls.

Run upfront engagement phases of the project with architects, project managers and other stakeholders for project setup and planning

Capture Connectivity requirements, document HLD’s and LLD’s for specific services

Support Network implementation engineers for delivery of designs

Ensure IP Net. Dev. process compliance against network standards during network design, testing and implementation stages

Be part of change control boards to ensure that MOP are written appropriately and there is no unexpected service impact while delivery engineer is implementing the change.

What you'll bring:

Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in designing and implementing End-to-End IP designs with the focus on cloud environment (private and hybrid)

Experience in IP Design documentation (HLD/LLD).

Experience in designing and delivering from requirements to a solution production ready a complete End-to End IP networking architecture

Deep technical IP networking technologies knowledge with SDN experience and security. Experience in one or more SDN domain areas (Control, Data, Config, Deployment, Automation)

Experience of emerging technology areas. This includes Virtualization, VMWare, OpenStack, VNF, and Container solutions.

Career focus on Telco IP backbones and MPLS/IP services with a passion for technology

Experience of architecture and design for telco networks using ISIS, MPLS SR, MP-BGP, LDP, QoS, Security with basic understanding of Netconf/YANG.

Extensive knowledge of IP CLOS Architecture design and implementation. Knowledge of EVPN-VXLAN, Cisco based fabric and NSX-T is highly desirable.

Hands-on experience on Cisco, VMWare SDN (NSX), Palo Alto would be expected.

Experience in designing and integrating Security Productions from IP perspective.

Knowledge of VMWare product suit and experience would be advantageous

DevOps networking experience in automation using Python, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, YANG, JSON, Netconf and Ansible

Ability to tell good network designs from bad, and a zeal for network quality and reliability

Proven stakeholder engagement and reporting skills, and strong technical leadership skills, project delivery using Agile methodologies

Good presentation, time management and leadership skills & ability to work with diverse set of backgrounds

Industry standard certified CCIE/JNCIE level or equivalent proven experience.
