“We are looking to appoint an experienced Solution Architect into a pivotal role that will deliver end to end solutions for our corporate functions i.e., Finance, Procurement, HR & Logistics.

The team is new and is currently formulating north star strategies and roadmaps to modernise the ERP based corporate technology landscape partnering with business to deliver modern strategic solution architecture and designs.”


What you’ll do:

We enable the global, digital, agile and secure ERP based enterprise systems while ensuring our people and organisations have the right solutions to succeed

• Be responsible for creating, managing and assuring end to end solution architecture and design working with business and technology stakeholders.
• Be responsible for the end-to-end solution architecture and design underpinned by strategic technologies.
• Working with business and product/platform owners at an ideas stage to guide and support on the technology choices with strategic alignment.
• Advise and support senior executives on technical choices and associated risks and opportunities on build, buy, extend, customise and deprecate strategies. 
• Ensure solution reference model designs align with industry best practice, using relevant technology and corporate policies.
• Collaborate with other technology & architecture teams to ensure solutions are aligned to the support NFR objectives such as audit, security, resilience etc.
• Be responsible for producing support models for the solutions.
• Contribute to the architecture & technology guardrails and principles within the department to drive the decision process, and govern their lifecycle, intervening where required to collaboratively to address any shortfalls.
• Be pragmatic with architectural decisions and mitigating key technical risks across operations and delivery teams adopting trade-offs.

What you’ll bring:
• Solution architecture experience of working on the back-office business functions such as Finance, HR, Procurement underpinned by ERP and similar technologies.
• Experience of contingent workforce hiring process involving Beeline, Ariba and Workday applications would be highly desirable.
• Demonstrable knowledge of at least one mainstream ERP Packages (SAP, Oracle, Workday)
• Have a strategic mindset whilst maintaining a pragmatic view of the immediate horizon.
• The ability to weigh up multiple solutions to a problem against different priorities, e.g. business benefits, cost (capex/opex), complexity and time.
• An ability to clearly define and document technology solutions using best practice frameworks.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills – a big part of the job is talking to people to understand requirements and talking to technology teams and other SAs to ensure we build the right thing in the right way.
• An ability to work to deadlines and meet delivery needs whilst not neglecting the overall architecture and platform needs.
• Implementation and experience of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF to support business targets
• Being action orientated, able to self-manage your own work backlog, with the ability to work on multiple pieces at one time.
