(6 month contract) - London/Hybrid 2 days in office

£580 Inside IR35

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As the Procurement Manager for Marketing the role has a strong focus on supporting all marketing categories including strategy development and sourcing work; the Procurement Manager - Marketing will work alongside the Senior Procurement Managers and the Director and will work closely with marketing and media teams and agencies to identify opportunities to improve outcomes for marketing & media activity and deliver on plans in 2023.


The role will focus on Advertising Production Projects for key campaigns as well as sponsorship contracts and include, but not be limited to the following projects:
- VIP Platform & programme
- Partnerships and PR contract renewals
- Support to deliver Horizon production savings
- Tail spend management
- Smart buy support

In addition in the role, you will
Help develop and deliver Procurement initiatives and best practice, including support for the wider Group procurement vision.
Support the broader Marketing Procurement team with Contract renewals, RFPs, Supplier onboarding and team projects on the a
Work with and report to the Director of Marketing and Media
Work with other category leads in Marketing Procurement team.
Provide strategic commercial input to a broad range of initiatives, including wide cost-saving programmes.
Be capable of evaluating options against all relevant factors i.e. technical, commercial, logistical, risk etc and recommending the best option to the business
Help develop and deliver procurement initiatives and best practice, including support for the wider Group procurement vision.
Defines process for most complex situations & drive improvement.
Support the broader marketing procurement team with renewals, RFPs and team projects.
In collaboration with business stakeholders, lead on major supplier negotiations demonstrating an in-depth understanding of key business drivers.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Proven Procurement experience in multiple category areas, particularly Marketing & Media. Managed high value spend through deals negotiated, support spend strategy development.
Experience of balancing cost, quality, risk, availability, innovation, sustainability over the short and longer term
Experience of defining procurement process for most situations, and identifying improvement
Role models Empowerment, Teamwork, Feedback and Development, Collaboration, Execution, Commitment to Highest levels of Integrity and Ethics
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Prior experience in procurement is highly desirable.
Prior experience in Marketing procurement would be beneficial.
