1st line Support
This is a short term contract requiring cover on the 1st–3rd October & 13th–17th October.
1st line IT Support Technician to provide temporary cover in a school. The role is hands-on, focusing on everyday IT issues while the in-house IT lead is away.
What you’ll do:
- Reset passwords & support staff with Microsoft Office “how do I” questions
- Unblock printers and troubleshoot basic hardware
- Reconnect/check network cables, Wi-Fi, and LAN issues
- Be the friendly first point of contact for IT problems
What you’ll need:
- Previous IT support experience (education setting ideal but not essential)
- Basic troubleshooting and networking knowledge
- Enhanced DBS (required)
- Safeguarding training (desirable)
Note: You must be enhanced DBS and ideally had some Safeguarding training
