We are engaged exclusively with one of our global clients, who are seeking a National Account Manager for their skin care brand. This role is for someone based in North West Germany ideally
- Senior NAM for the skincare brand with the headroom to become Sales Director and then Country Manager across Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- Current sales ~€9M via an exclusive distributor
- Distribution agreement ends amicably on 1/4/2023
- Distributor incentivised to keep momentum and ensure smooth handover
- Scope to grow skincare brand to €20M within a few years
- Manage transition from distributor to direct supply
- Product distributed across most major channels, inc. DM, Rossman and Muller
- Create team to ensure growth is delivered
Identify and develop ‘direct’ business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- Take over existing skincare customers from current distributor, sales value ~ €9M
- Grows sales within current customers by applying Cat Man principles
- Identify and develop various channel/country sales opportunities
- Proactively network with customers at all levels to maximise all business opportunities
Achieve sales and profit targets
- Management of existing Sales and Margin mix within your accounts, with a focus on business growth
- Development and introduction of NPD to your accounts
- Develop, agree and execute annual Joint Business Plans to deliver the agreed business growth
- Negotiation and securing of Annual Trading Agreements, including management of CPI strategies/initiatives
Develops, delivers and evaluates all promotional activities
- Works closely with skincare Marketing team and commercial analysts to develop promotions, POS, NPD and account strategies
- Conduct regular store visits to better understand Retailer/Competitor initiatives with the market (Product/Price/Promos/POS/Location/etc)
- Responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating all promotional activity
Account Control/Sales excellence
- Creates robust and accurate forecasting plans
- Control of account budgets and debts
- Investigating and resolving account queries and issues raised on national accounts
Sales Management
- Recruit, induct and develop sales resource across the region as the need arises
- Deliver results through the recruited team
