Our client is a looking for a contractor to design and implement a piece of work around Data Governance automation, requiring data checking and data cleansing activities.
Owing to the need to remove data as and when the client can no longer justify keeping it. Automated processes need to be run against the database on a regular basis (e.g. nightly, monthly, annually) to confirm what actions if any need to be performed on the Contacts and their associated records. The full logic for these checks is defined in the clients Data Retention Design and Use Cases spreadsheet and Process Flow diagrams.
In brief, it requires checks on the presence of and dates on associated records, as well as checking what data is stored on the contact record itself, and based on this, data purge actions must be triggered. These actions may take the form of field value clearance (e.g. removal of Gender, Date of Birth etc), the deletion of associated records (e.g. Donations, Memberships, Activities) and/or the deletion of the Contact record itself.
The client is looking to split this work in to two phases across a total of 30 days. The first phase of 5-7 days is the design proposal, to be reviewed by the client and the remaining days on phase 2 are for the implementation.
Work can either be fulfilled on a 5 days a week basis or on a part-time basis of 2-3 days a week, as long as all working hours are within business hours and at least a Thursday or a Friday are included as working days every week. Work can be conducted remotely, with posibbly one or two on-site meetings if the consultant lives in the south east of Engalnd.
